World of Warships Entering Closed Beta Phase

For those following World of Warships you may or may not have been invited to test the game yet.  On March 12th the game moves to the closed beta phase and is officially out of alpha/beta weekend testing.  If you have taken part in testing prior to this then you will be included in this round of testing but if you have not then on March 12th you will be able to apply to the closed beta.

This also means that the non-disclosure agreement will be dropped and you will see more information about World of Warships coming out.  If you are wondering if I will be covering World of Warships then the answer is yes.  I will still be playing World of Tanks regularly and making new guides/videos/etc. on WoT Guru.  Once March 12th hits I’ll be revealing a new website soon thereafter that I have been working on for a while that will host World of Warship content along with other games down the road.  While the websites will be separate(not to change how WoT Guru is now) they will be similar in format.

All videos will be posted on my current YouTube page that you can find here.

  1. What do you think about the differences between this game and world of tanks. I haven’t played it, but from what I see on the videos it looks promising. I just hope that people will not leave world of tanks and move to battleships. I am sure this one will exceed over time the success of world of tanks.

    • I actually started to cover WoWS over on my other website and I also have videos on my YouTube channel. So far I think it is an alright game, but it lacks the depth and complexity that World of Tanks has. For example it would be like if WoT dumbed down the armor, penetration calculations, and increased camouflage on light tanks by 2-3 times.
