The tier 10 T110E5 heavy tank is tough to handle due to the combination of thick and angled armor. The tank has undergone several armor changes, with the most recent being the 9.17.1 update. This guide for World of Tanks T110E5 weak spots will break down the tank’s entire effective armor values as of the 9.17.1 update.

World of Tanks T110E5 Weak Spots |Frontal View|
Lower Glacis Weak Spots
The T110e5 goes all in with its armor frontally with an impressive armor scheme. Most tanks either go with sheer thickness or heavy angles. This tank goes with both approaches which gives it excellent armor across most of the front. Even its weak spots aren’t straight forward and have been proven to be difficult to hit. Its weakest spot frontally is on the lower glacis at 176mm effectiveness. This small piece of the lower glacis also has areas between 198mm-219mm effective around it that are viable weak spots. Aiming in this area you want to stick just slightly off center and below the thicker beak armor located above it. If you aim directly center you increase you chance of hitting the 266mm effective bottom center piece.
Upper Glacis & Turret Weak Spots
Moving up from the lower glacis you have tough armor on the beak and upper glacis. Part of the T110e5’s strength comes from this area’s ability to shrug off even the highest penetration rounds from tier 10 tank destroyers. The turret front is also very strong with most being above 325mm effective armor. There are two small weak spots at 203mm and 304mm effective armor around the mantlet. The 203mm turret front spot is the small flat strip that runs along the mantlet. The 304mm mantlet weak spot is just left/right of the gun. Both of these areas are extremely tough to hit and shouldn’t be used on a regular basis.
Cupola Weak Spots
Last but not least is the commander’s cupola that received an overhaul in 9.17.1. The cupola now sits between 228mm-260mm effective armor across most of its front view. The edges are much tougher and will bounce shots so avoid hitting the very far edges of the cupola. The weakest point is located left-center of the cupola at 228mm effective. Areas flanking it are slightly tougher but capable of being penetrated by tier 10 tanks about 50% of the time. Tier 8-9 tanks are able to penetrate the cupola on a more regular basis now with the change in armor. Lower tiers will still be better off with hitting the lower plate for more reliable shots.
World of Tanks T110E5 Weak Spots |Side View|
Leaving the front armor the side armor of the T110E5 becomes progressively weaker towards the rear of the tank. The side armor was slightly reduced in 9.17.1 with the removal of some beak armor that wrapped armor. The frontal track wheel is now easily damaged whereas before it was one of the toughest points of the T110e5’s side. The turret side also has decent protection located on parts of the cupola and towards the front half of the turret. For those shooting at the E5’s side simply hit the weak side hull and the back half of the turret for best results.
World of Tanks T110E5 Weak Spots |Rear View|
Looking at the rear hull armor you can quickly tell that the T110e5 lacks protection here. Simply avoid hitting parts of the turret where it is angled and the cupola for best results.
