Testing out another way to do map strategies on here.  Mocked up a few images of basic spots/routes. What do you think?

Looks good. The information is easy to pick up.

At least on my screen, they could have more contrast/brightness. They seem “greyed out.”

    • Thanks for the replay. As far as they greyness goes… The way I take these pictures the filter on Murovanka(it has low clouds) makes some of the zoomed out pictures hazy. The green/red I can tweak a bit since I have them on 25% opacity.

  2. very good, however I think you should use both map and image.

  3. Great idea so much better than just using the maptactics.
So any chance you will do Northwest any time soon

    • Getting close. Takes a while for new maps now since I play a bit less and don’t have as much time to test them out right away.

  4. Please don’t drop the current “minimap” view — have both. This new ” aerial” view will be instead reach out to people who have a different way of internalizing their spatial awareness.

I like these views! I agree with previous commenters; I’d still like to see the maps as well.
